Photographic Society

The ZCM Photographic Society which was officially commenced in 2016 has now grown to be among the most vibrant clubs in school. Throughout the journey of five years, the members have equipped themselves to see it as an art and as a form of non-verbal communication that is capable of changing perspectives, creating impact, and mostly a vibe like no other. This has been evident with the awards garnered by the club, and its members in recent years. Applications for new members were recently called via online means. Receiving over 100 applications has been a testament to the journey and vision thus far. The club had AGM virtually and appointed its executive committee for the years 2021/22 with active members. The club will be headed by the Master In Charge charge Mr. Z.M.M Zamny VP. It’s a great rapture to note that the club has successfully completed 3 consecutive workshops during the pandemic and has interacted with the members to enhance their skills in photography, equipment, rules, and other associated aesthetics since September 2021. The sessions were conducted by award-winning photographers and past members who volunteered as resource personnel. Last month’s workshop was conducted on the 28th of November on the topic of “Still Life photography and Preparing for competitions” by the Former President of ZCM Photographic Society Mast.MI Ayyash Ahamed. Around 80 students participated in the session. The club announced that they are planning on conducting more workshops, photographic competitions, exhibitions, and expeditions in the near future.
