Our mother Zahira had produced many talented individuals over the years. That had both benefited the country and the community. Which have made Mother Zahira proud of it. Those talented individuals who are now someone important to the society had come to the school they studied back again. This time they came to school as beneficiaries to their school.
The 70th batch of Zahira College of Mawanella is who did O/L in 2000 and A/L in 2003. One of the successful badge in the history of Zahira. And they had repaid mother Zahira’s grace by introducing a new project to enrich Zahira.The project is about building a Career guidance and Motivation unit to the school. That can help the teachers to discuss about the matters related to the school. The cost of the building amounting to RS 500,000. The construction works of the building commenced on 3rd August of 2020. And was handed over to the school principal on 17th of September of 2020 at the assembly meeting in front of the entire school staff, school Develop Society and Old Boys Association.
No matter how far we the students of Zahira College go, we cannot forget the school which created who we are today.
